Should I or Shouldn't I?

Joining Paparazzi can be a major decision.  Spending $99 or more on a start up kit plus additional initial supplies and costs can be big step for anyone.  Hopefully the thoughtful answers to the questions below will address some of these concerns and allow you to make the best decision for yourself and your family.

How do I begin as a Paparazzi Consultant?

As a Paparazzi Consultant, you simply sell $5 accessories – in person, online, or at a variety of other locations. Sell as often and where you like, it’s up to you.  Due to the fact that Paparazzi continually updates accessory styles and designs, it’s never the same experience for your customers.

To start, just follow these four simple steps:

  1. Buy any Starter Kit. Each comes with everything you need (bags, display hooks, jewelry—it’s all covered!). Kit sizes range from small home parties to larger boutiques and events.

  2. Plan and invite. Pick a time, date, and place to host your first Paparazzi party. Then spread the word to everyone you know.

  3. Party it up. Display your accessories for all to try, and then watch them buy. Use your own creative flare to create the atmosphere you want. The sky is the limit when you party with Paparazzi.

  4. Revel in success and repeat. Everything you make is yours to keep. Whether your goal is to make extra spending cash, fund a vacation, or generate income to pay the bills, you can make it happen through Paparazzi parties. You’ll be amazed just how easy it really is.

How much does it cost to become a Paparazzi Consultant?

In order to start as a Paparazzi Consultant, you have to buy a Starter Kit.  The great thing about Paparazzi is that they have a kit for all budgets!  You have three kit options: the $99, $299, and $499.  It really depends on how much inventory you want to purchase and have on hand.  We recommend purchasing the largest kit that you are able.  The value of all the kits are outstanding, but the value increases with the size of the kit.  We have talked with consultants who have started and immediately need to put an order in for more jewelry because they sell out so quickly or in order to have a better variety of product.  Starter kits are only available for purchase by brand new consultants.  The following is a breakdown of what you get in each kit:

Are there other costs to starting my Paparazzi business?

There are some other supplies (such as peg boards, garments racks, spray paint) that we suggest you purchase and use for displaying your inventory (approximately $100).  There will also be other things you need to get your business started,  but most will not cost money upfront (i.e. ability to take credit cards, setting up a business Facebook page, inventorying your stock, etc.).  We can go in depth into our suggestions for what to purchase for displays and how to handle the other necessary processes to prepare your business in further detail upon joining.

Where can I sell Paparazzi?

There are multiple ways for you to sell Paparazzi.  One method is through in-home parties.  You bring your inventory to the hostess’ house for their invited friends.  We have found that ladies love to touch and try on the jewelry and home parties are perfect for that.  At our first home show was when we sold over $500 ($225 of profit) worth of jewelry and accessories in two hours!  You can also sell at large fairs, craft shows, civic events, and holiday bazaars.  These can be very lucrative, but often also require a seller’s fee.  Basket parties, where you bring or loan out a small amount of jewelry for a hostess to bring to their work, reading group, church, etc., is another easy way for your customers to get their $5 fix.  Our favorite party is a Facebook party since you can do it at home in your pajamas relaxing.  A Facebook party is a two night event on Facebook where you post items for the invited guests to purchase.  One of our recent Facebook parties sold over $225 (over $101 in profit) of jewelry and accessories.  The bottom line is that selling Paparazzi is versatile and different for everyone.  Find what works for you and go with it!

Are there monthly amounts that I have to sell as a Paparazzi Consultant?

No there are not specific amounts you have to sell.  There are three things to keep in mind though.  First, Paparazzi typically looks at the amount you as a consultant buy for your inventory instead of sells.  Second, in order to receive commissions earned by your team (the consultants that you personally sponsor and so on), you do have to purchase 25 pieces per month.  Third, in order to stay active as a Paparazzi Consultant, you must purchase 100 pieces of jewelry in a rolling twelve month period.

Are there other income opportunities besides selling the jewelry?

If you were introduced to Paparazzi at a party then found yourself becoming a Consultant, don’t be surprised when your customers do the same. Many of our Consultants continue to build their business by sponsoring new Consultants who want to try a party of their own. There are additional profit opportunities when people sign up to be a Consultant and join your team.  Paparazzi allows you to earn income in both the short and long term. When you host a party, you’ll keep 45% commission right on the spot. The more parties you hold, the more profits add up—as do the chances to introduce more people to Paparazzi. When you sign up a customer to become a Consultant, you’ll also receive residual income. Together, these income streams have helped countless Consultants reshape their view of the future.

How much money can I earn in a month?

A lot of it depends on how hard you work and how much you sell.  You can earn income from selling items, and also building a team.  The higher you advance, the more in commissions  you earn.  All you need to do is set goals and go for it!

Are there things that I can't do with my private Paparazzi business?

So your Paparazzi business is yours and you are able to make a wide breadth of decisions about it on your own.  Since you are selling a product for a company that has vested interest in the actions of those that sell their product and how and where their product is sold, they do have some guidelines that consultants must follow, but they are much more instructive, than restrictive.  The Policies and Procedures document for Paparazzi Independent consultants can be found here.
